Nana and Papa came to visit the weekend before Christmas!
Amelia and Isabelle had a couple gifts for Nana and Papa
Amelia painted an ornament for Nana
For Papa a Chiefs shirt. She was actually telling him it was a shirt as soon as she gave him the gift bag - though I don't think it was quite understandable enough for Papa to notice. Amelia was so proud that she had wrapped both gifts!
Papa and Isabelle. Isabelle finally warmed up to Papa! Yay!
Daddy and Amelia - love this picture!
More morning cuddles
Such happiness from Isabelle!

Papa was such a great playmate! Amelia was having so much playing cars.
The imagination running wild!
While Nana and Papa visited we took a trip to the Mall of America. Amelia is big enough to ride some rides, so she got to ride two of them.
Amelia also rode the trucks! She thought she was so cool! There was no fear at all that we didn't ride with her. Instead she waved as she went passed and turned the wheel to make sure the trucks would go around the track.
Nana and Papa surprised Amelia by doing a build a bear (or in Amelia's case, build a puppy).
Picking out clothes for the puppy.
Papa and Isabelle hung out together while waiting for the puppy to be built.
I love how Isabelle is holding Papa's hand and looking at him
Lovin' you Papa!
Naming the puppy, his name? Puppy
Amelia with puppy sittin' on her hip
Papa made Amelia a GIANT cookie! Amelia loved that cookie and talked about it for days.

The weather good enough to go to the Holidazzle Parade! It was our first time and it was so much fun!
All of us bundled up.
All of the floats and people have lights on them, which makes the parade so great!
Ginger bread house. Amelia kept saying, "More lights Mom, more lights!"
Santa and his sleigh. Amelia also asked for "Baby Ja Jas." Too bad a manger scene wasn't included in the parade.
The Twins baseball man!
