Landon Sayings

I cannot handle this hotness.

Today is the day of the day!

It's so boring!

Dad is cold and prickly!  (To get ticked)
Mom is warm and fuzzy (To get hugs)

Feelin' Old

On the eve of 2017, there is nothing like hearing from your six year old that mom is 51 and dad has to be something like 59 - when in reality....we are 35 and 36.  Oh how the years fly.

On the first night of 2017, Amelia - after laughing at me trying to do a donkey kick (I told her laughing wasn't nice), proceeded to tell me - I did a really good job for my age!  Her face of innocence as she encouraged me nearly made die laughing.

Driving Home with Landon

While driving home, there's nothing that warms your heart like hearing Landon say (unprompted), "I love you too mom!"   So sincere......only to be followed up by fart noises and giggles.
Love this boy!

The Big 35

Today was the big 35.   After eating cake and singing daddy asked all the kids what they appreciated about mommy.  Here were their responses:
Amelia:  All of her snuggles.
Isabelle: Her hugs and kisses.
Landon:  [Distracted]
Daddy:  Landon, what do you like about Mommy?  Do you like all the kisses and tickles she gives you?
Landon: [Immediately] NO! [Pause, Pause]  I like going to the park.
Daddy:  You are glad mommy takes you to the park?
Landon: Yes

Love my family so very much!  Thanks for a great birthday and for singing to me.
Landon - I promise I will sing to you when its your birthday.

Passin' Her By

Its official!  Landon weighs more than Isabelle by 3 lbs!  It has probably been this way for a couple months.  We knew it would happen at some point - just a matter of when!

We have entered the realm of school now......Amelia couldn't be doing better!  Last night we had the open house and the girl could not contain her excitement!  She showed us all around and had the biggest smile on her face.

Landon Funnies

Landon is keeping us on our toes......on our way home from the park (we left because he was soo thirsty) the kids were running up ahead.  As I came around a parked car I see Landon getting down on all fours about ready to drink the water out of the side of the street.  'NOOOOOOOO' - luckily it was one time he actually listened.

When I go to pick Landon up from daycare he calls me 'His Kathy is here, his Kathy'

Landon calls his sisters, Mela Jane and Ibelle Ryne.

Landon introduces himself as Lannon Russell Vigneron

The boy does not know a stranger....he sparks a conversation with anyone we talk to as if they are his best friend.
