Quote for the Day

From daycare notes...."Landon was super active today.  Very busy!  Way more than normal.  Curious about everything :)"

I didn't know that was possible!  Love this kid!

Tidbits

This past weekend we watched some home videos - Amelia was about 20ish months and Isabelle was an infant.  It made me think about how quickly time has gone by.   Now Landon is 20ish months, Amelia is 5 and Isabelle 3!  We all walked into Walmart this past weekend and I thought to myself....wow, how far we have come to all walk in.

So here are some tidbits to mark this moment in their lives.....
Amelia's favorite color - Pink and all the colors of the world
Isabelle's favorite color - Purple and on occasion - pink

Favorite plate - monkey plate (both girls)
Favorite place to sit - by the wall looking out at the kitchen (both girls)

Most common request - cuddling at night, vitamins after brushing your teeth

Landon you are trying so hard to talk - tonight you grabbed the duck and said uck......ack (translation - duck....quack).  You also say hi, uve (love), all (ball).   You give hugs and kisses.   Also following simple commands - sit down, come here, front door.

Landon you have a fascination with trouble - biting off marker heads, putting Isabelle's undies in the toilet, pulling anything off of the table (such as flour in a bowl).

Amelia you love to sing - the other day you had all three off you sit on the trampoline, while you played guitar and sang about loving Jesus.

Isabelle you try over and over to love on Landon and well, he just hits you a lot....usually in the face.  Tonight you were so heartbroken, but daddy explained how one day Landon would learn to play with you and how he would love you as much as you love him.  You are so sweet and sensitive.
Landon, despite hitting Isabelle you give her hugs all the time.

Amelia you think your daddy's crutches are stitches.  When daddy called them stitches (like you), you said, 'No daddy they are crutches).

Landon, you grunted and clapped to the abc's the other day. We were pretty impressed!

Isabelle - for whatever reason you love to put your shoes on the wrong feet.  And every time I tell you they are on backwards you always say in the most surprised way "OH, ok".

We have been reading a lot of books lately - Landon you LOVE the Little Blue Truck books.  I think we have now broken 100 times!

We are so lucky to have you as our kids and while right now its a lot of work and there is lots of yelling and whining - you small people have our hearts.  Life just wouldn't be life without you.  I cherish these moments as they are fleeting.  I wish I could capture all of the moments like the ones above so I never forget, but there will be new memories and new fun things to capture.

I love you kiddos!
