The Vigneron Name Lives On!

Its a BOY!!
For those who don't know....I'm pregnant with #3 baby!  I'm 21 weeks and due December 7th.  We had our ultrasound last week.
As you can see next to the "I" the proof that Vigneron's can produce boys!  It only takes 6 tries before it happens with #7 grandchild!
Here are a couple pictures of the little guy's feet.
 Another foot picture
Here is his profile.  He was quite the poser for this shot!
Here is a 4-D of his face.  On the right side there is a lump by his face, that is his hand.
Another 4-D.  On the right you can see his leg.  He had sandwiched himself in half and was hitting himself in the nose with his knee.  What talent!

We were excited to find out we were adding a boy to the family!  Everything is measuring right on and he looks really healthy!

Stats

Today was wellness check ups for the girls.  Amelia - 3 years, Isabelle - 15 months.  Now as a preface we've had a rough week with Isabelle, starting with pink eye last Sunday followed-up with ear infection all week.  Amelia has never had an ear infection.....yeah - this is not for the faint of heart!  I had nooooo idea.  So to all those whose children have had multiple ear infections.....my heart goes out to you!  We found out today it was a double ear infection.  Oh our poor girl!  I don't think I've ever seen her so miserable.

Starting with Amelia.....she was such a big girl!  And she kept reminding both the nurse and doctor.  How talkative she was.....which if you know Amelia, she has changed a lot in this respect.  She then had both her hearing and eye test and passed with flying colors!  The doctor even mentioned how good it was for her only being three.
Height: 3'1" (53rd percentile)
Weight: 34 lb (79th percentile)
Based on the curve Amelia is thought to be about 5'5" tall.

And onto Isabelle, she could not explore the doctors office enough!  We are starting to get our girl back!  She kept walking over to the nurse and doctor and patting their arm while 'talking' to them.  She is definitely starting to chunk up a little.
Height: 2'6" (28th percentile)
Weight: 19 lb 6 oz (With clothes) (22nd percentile)
Head: 45.8 cm (51st percentile)

Overall, it was a good visit.  I had help from Daddy, which was nice and I was grateful.

Girls at a Glance

 Amelia one morning at breakfast.
Isabelle loves Joey!  She gives her hugs, plays peek a boo with her and most recently she used her as a chair while she looked out the window.   For the most part, Joey just sits there and lets her do what she wants.
 Amelia juggling.
Isabelle playing dress up - the girl already likes to!
Isabelle loves her lambie - and also her monkey.  She must always have them with her and now she has taken to insisting on bringing monkey home from daycare.  I am guessing she may have picked that habit up from her big sister.
 Our sweet girl.
Another dress up day.  This one is a little big though!
Amelia dressing up in her fairy dress
 Big smiles!
After many requests, a search for the charger, patience while charging and big help putting the track together, Amelia FINALLY was able to play on her train.  This is pretty huge for her, since she has never really wanted to push the peddle to make the train go.  But she loves it now and Isabelle wanted in on the action!  I have no idea how many times they went around, but they were on the train for a looooong time!
Amelia insisted she HAD to wear her sunglasses while on the train.  Love the trust in Isabelle's eyes!  Amelia did a great job not running into Isabelle when she was on the track.
Oh Miss Amelia!  This is a daycare special.....you can't see her hands, but they are just as green - actually worse.  'Don't worry mom, its just a tattoo'.  I can't say I thought it was cute this time.  But in general I think its hilarious that you have made the association between temporary tattoos and markers on the hand.  Quite creative I must say.

Parades and Rides

We decided to take advantage of some local activities.
 Amelia loved watching the parade
 And riding a pony!
Isabelle loved watching the animals and I think she will love to ride the ponies when she is old enough!
Another dragon ride!
More rides!

Catchin' Up.....Still

As we continue to catch up, our next visit was from Nana, Papa and Aunt Amber in early May. Still a bit chilly as you can see.
Out on the swing set!
How the girls love to swing!
An under dog from Papa!
Amelia getting some help from Nana to go down the slide.
Amelia pushing Isabelle.  She loves to push her, though she doesn't always realize how far back Isabelle comes flying back- ouch!

While at Tulip Festival, Amelia got to go on some rides.  And she LOVED it.  Ever since then, she takes any and every opportunity to go on a ride.
The dragon ride.  Amelia was evidently not scared at all and instead had a blast.
Amelia is 3rd from the back
Love the smile on her face!
On a trike just like gramma's!
Amelia on her trike, she is working on her steering, as it isn't very good yet but she is definitely better than in the beginning!
Going on a ride with Grandpa
Amelia wanted to get into this wooden shoe so bad!  And was soo excited when she got in!
Amelia's first daddy-daughter date!   This part of it was a Wendy's frosty.

Our next trip was to Nana and Papa's for Frontier Days in the beginning of June.
So on a good note, as of now - I don't think Amelia will be a criminal.....she did NOT like the jailhouse!  I guess start them off young on the right road!

Conversations

A couple weeks ago at breakfast:
A:  Mommy, where's gramma?
M:  At her house.
A:  I can't see her.
M: Nope, her house is too far away.
A:  We just need to cross the water and go through the woods!
M: (Laughing) ....to grandmother's house we go.
A: I know how to get there

This morning we were eating breakfast and listening to some country music.  The song about "You make me want to roll my window down......."
Daddy:  Amelia, can you roll your window down?  (Arm 'rolling' the window down)
Amelia:  No Daddy, I push the button and then it goes down. (Finder 'pushing' the button)

Amelia, how can you be three already?!  The time has flown by and you continue to show me what a sweet and amazing little girl you are!   Almost everyday you tell me, "Mom, I'm a big kid."  You have really changed in the last couple months, you are becoming more independent, pushing boundaries and are quite the chatterbox.  I can't believe how my observer girl is now so talkative - to almost anyone.  You have such a sweet spirit and while you find it incredibly difficult to share with your sister, you also love her so very much.  You guys are really starting to bond as sisters and its amazing to see this change in your relationship.

Its been about a year and you still love Minnie Mouse so much!  We now have quite the collection from shirts to cups to figurines, but you can never have enough of Minnie, Mickey and the Clubhouse friends.

You love to play pretend and you have a very creative imagination!  When you aren't playing pretend, you love to color and you are becoming quite good too.  You have started to color in the lines more, but you also like to fill blank pages completely with color.

You also love Jesus.  You know He lives in your heart and your prayers are so precious.  You've heard daddy and me pray, and you are catching on to how it goes.  You pray for you baby brother almost every night along with your daycare friends, Maya and Bella.  When you watch Psalty, you now sing a long to the songs and anytime we hear you our hearts melt!

You are becoming very good at riding trikes, skipping, and balancing on one foot.  You love to run and play at the playground whenever you can.  You actually prayed for a week to go to the playground one time.  It didn't work to go during the week, which is why you kept praying to go every night!

Whenever you tell me you love me or want to give me a hug or kiss, you warm my heart!  The last 3 years have been wonderful to see you grow and develop into a wonderful little girl.  I am so proud of you and your accomplishments!  I'm also proud of the way you are becoming your own little personality, willing to tell us your opinion.  Amelia - we love you so much!  Happy 3rd Birthday!
Love Mommy

Catchin' Up

....ooooooooor not.   Its an attempt, but this is not a full catch up.  I realize there has been a lack of pictures as of late and I must say - my rate of taking pictures has really decreased.   These are pictures from Daddy's phone, which is why they span across a lot of time and haven't been posted.

So this is a trip to the zoo - Isabelle's first.  I'm not sure when it was other than to say it was still cold.
The little monkey liked Isabelle and kept coming over to visit.  Isabelle was fascinated!  Once she realized what that little thing moving around was.
Another visit from the monkey.  It was the first time I had seen them like this, so it was really fun.
Mommy, Amelia and Isabelle heading down to look at the bigger monkeys
The orangutans.  The little baby was super cute and Amelia liked getting so close.
Isabelle loves to play with the humidifiers and 'no touch' really doesn't seem to do much
 Amelia with her friend Seth.
Nana, Papa and Amber came to visit (once again - not sure when.  looks like it was still cold).  We went to Ikea!
 Aunt Amber and Isabelle
Amelia trying so hard to help Isabelle walk - she just doesn't realize that Isabelle really isn't that fast yet and really doesn't have good balance yet either.  But she tries and its super sweet.
Nana and Isabelle.  I think Isabelle was trying to make a getaway.  She was walking by this point, so she loved the freedom.
 Trying out a bed!
Papa reading to Amelia.  Looks like it could be Lady and the Tramp - a favorite
Such concentration!  "Hmmmm, Papa - I'm not sure how it works"
 Aunt Amber and Isabelle
 Nana's turn to read!
Amelia doing stretches with Aunt Amber - it was quite cute!

So this ends this 'catch up'.  As you can tell by Amelia's fleece pj's - we obviously aren't caught up yet.  Maybe in the next one!
