Mish Mash

The other day we went on a walk.....
....and with me came my divas
 full of sass
 and pizazz
 and swingin' hips!
Every rock is a potential posing place.......and I didn't even suggest it!
There has been quite a bit of sisterly love lately!
Their first cereal for supper - and to make it better? Lucky Charms.  They wanted to repeat the next night.
 Afternoon snack outside
 Love those little hands!
Isabelle wanted to lay down and say hi to Lando
And then Amelia wanted to join to!
 A visitation by Isabelle
 Pre-6 months
Landon's fine motor skills has really gotten good over the last couple weeks
 More sisterly love!
Do you want to build a snowman?!  This is their Olaf - and he even talked!
Isabelle and her bed head.....just like I used to have - poor girl.
The kiddos got book matching animals!  They continue to sleep with them and love them like crazy.  Go figure, Isabelle choose the monkey!
 The girls watching a show
Happy Lando!  That smile never gets old.

Back Float Shuffle

In the week of Lando - it has been quite a week!  If the rest of his 6th month continues the way this one has.....its going to be fun!

Last weekend, we weighed Landon and he was 16 lbs.  My champion sleeper?!  Not so much this week - Tuesday night he got up every 2 hours or so and I fed him twice.  Wednesday night.....I fed him three times!  And during the day - I could not feed him enough, formula, solids (sometimes 2x/day), me - nothing could quench the hunger.  Last night he finally slept through the night again - a big thank you from me!   What was the result - today Landon had his 6 month checkup and he weighs 17 lbs 2 oz!  Over a pound in growth! Needless to say, the chubby legs keep getting chubbier!

So, the rest of the stats.....
Height: 2' 2" - 19th Percentile  (A little shorty :)
Weight: 17 lb 2oz  - 40th Percentile
Head: 44.5 cm - 81st Percentile  (Keeping with the Vigneron kid trend...head is the biggest thing!)

And then there is the mobility - our little man is a mover now via the back float shuffle.  He lays on his back, lifts he bottom and pushes.  He can make full circles around the room if given enough time or get his head stuck in places.  Its quite the sight and he is quite fast.

Love you little man!  You continue to smile and charm people - no matter where you go!

Why Not?!

Why not have a milestone on your 6 month birthday?!  Landon decided today is the day to roll from his back to his belly by himself!  Way to go Lando!

Lando at 6 months...

Yes, yes I did post 4 pictures that look almost exactly the same :)

Happy 6 Months Landon!

Sweet boy, today you are 6 months old!  You have blessed this family and made it whole.  You are a roly poly happy guy who looks like your daddy - except for your blue eyes.  Landon, your sisters continue to love you like crazy!  Amelia can make you smile almost better than anyone else and Isabelle still makes you a bit concerned - only because she gives you so much of her toddler love!

You are not really much of a cuddler since you just want to see what is going on and don't want to miss a thing!  I hope once you see the world a bit, you'll start to snuggle more (yes, every mommy's wish - more cuddles).   You continue to treat me good with your champion sleeping style!  You get your bottle at 8:30 and sleep either all night or wake up once around 4-5 am.

As you are continue to grow - you continue to out-eat what I have to provide to you!  It seems you cannot stay full!  I hear this is common for boys.  Though I think this last week you have been going through a growth spurt of some sort.  Last night I gave you some pears and puffs for supper (2nd solid foods meal for the day) which seemed to satisfy you for at least a little bit!  You still had a whole bottle a couple hours later.  We did a preliminary weigh-in and you are 16 lbs!

From a developmental perspective.....you are getting closer to rolling from your back to your belly even though you aren't quite there yet.  You are really starting to talk and babble a lot!  You are very observant and have interest in everything going on around you.  You are a meanderer when on the floor or in your bed.

Your smiles and giggles are wonderful!  Your whole face lights up and your eyes twinkle!

We love you so much Landon and we are so lucky to have you as our son!
