Landon's 1 Year Stats

Last week Landon had his 1 year checkup and here are his stats....
Height: 2'6.5" - 72nd Percentile  (Up from the 37th percentile at his 9 month appointment!)
Weight: 22 lb 2 oz - 61st Percentile
Head: 47 cm - 74th Percentile

Since my 1 year post, Landon has added a few tricks.....standing by himself for a longer period of time, climbing the slide stairs and into short chairs.

He is also very good and pulling my plant over!
Love ya buddy.

Big Changes

Last weekend, we did a LOT of re-arranging, which resulted in some major changes for all of the kids.  Quite frankly, ALL of them are thrilled!
Isabelle is in a big girl bed!  She is so, so excited!  And for the most part she had done well staying in bed.  This is actually the morning we switched the beds around - I think if Isabelle could have, she would have gone right to bed.
Amelia is also ecstatic because according to her - they can  now throw toys at each other.
And the little man gets an upgrade as well!  He is now in the crib!  He has been doing an awesome job sleeping since he's been in the crib, so I'm guessing its a lot more comfortable! :)
The first night of sleeping in the beds!   The biggest challenge has been not allowing the girls play in between the beds like acrobats.
The girls have filled their beds with animals, blankets and anything else that can fit!
Now on to potty training :)

Fall Catch-up

A quick, fall catch-up of some pictures that haven't been posted yet.
The girls dressing up as Anna and Elsa while Landon heads for the shoes
Happy boy eating....one of his favorite things
 Landon pulling himself up.
Amelia trying to orchestrate a sibling picture.  There was a serious lack of cooperation much to her dismay.
 Rock picture!
Oh Landon - the day the boy in you showed itself so plainly.  You saw the track and train going around and made a gleeful beeline toward destroying what your sisters created.  It was so funny
The box did not hold you back one bit
Amelia giving up on trying to put the track back together
 Your happy self
Landon's first bite of ice cream!  We were out on a family adventure of picking pumpkins!
The girls enjoying their ice cream
His reaction to the cold was so cute, yet it didn't hold him back from more
Taking the hay ride to look at pumpkins
 Fun in the leave piles!

Our very chill-laxin' boy in the cart.  This is a common position

Happy 1st Birthday Landon!

One year - ALREADY!!!  Happy birthday my boy!  This year has gone by so quickly - I still remember waiting to have you in the hospital watching the first snow of the year come down out the window, our wait almost over.   You were quite a surprise, but I cannot imagine life without you in it!  I love you so so so so much Landon! You have completed this family and made it well rounded.   You are a sweet, laid back, happy little guy.  Well, I guess 'little' isn't quite accurate.  You are wearing a mix of 12-18 month clothes and your height is about the same as your sister's at 18 months.   As recent as yesterday, I am calling you a confident climber - you not only climbed the slide stairs, but you stood up and were hanging off the edge.  You also climbed up on the little Ikea chair multiple times.  Unfortunately, you want to go head first off of everything, so I guess we will need to work on that.   I don't think it will be much time before you will be walking - you are trying to stand by yourself more often and you cruise along the furniture and walls.
Not only do your sisters love you, but I'm also seeing you interact back with them more and more.  Its fun to see you play together and laugh. Your laugh is a deep belly laugh and I cannot get enough of it, as well as your smiles.  You know your name and you will turbo crawl across the floor to get your bottle in the afternoons.
Your hair is still dark brown and your eyes bright blue.  You have about 8 teeth, but they seem to be coming in fast.  You also eat a majority of your food from the table.  You are very aware of when everyone else is getting food, but you aren't - and you do not like that one bit.
I sing you Amazing Grace every night as I put you to bed and I love how sometimes you hum back to me.
As you have gotten older the boy in you is coming out more and more.  You know how to roll cars, destroy anything your sisters' have built and get into anything you shouldn't.
You are just the sweetest boy and I'm so grateful to be your mommy.  Happy Birthday - I am so excited to see how you grow and develop over the next year! I love you so much sweet boy!
