The Long Winter Continues

Life after San Antonio does exist and here is some of it to prove it......
Isabelle on the bus for her first day of speech!
 Happy Valentines Day from Gramma!

 Landon saying 'ank uuuu'
 Amelia and Isabelle at cheerleading.
Isabelle and Daddy's 50's Daddy/Daughter Night at preschool

 Double Heart Art
Well, we are back in the ER with Landon.  This time with Pneumonia.  It was such a long day, but so much easier with Gramma there for moral support.
It was difficult to see him in the ER again with breathing issues.  I am praying it doesn't happen again this year and Landon's lungs can withstand any viruses.  I am so grateful for our healthy kids and my heart goes out to those parents who frequent the ER on a regular basis.  Being in this situation hit me hard and allowed me to be grateful but also weighed heavily on me to have a little guy so sick.
Landon was such a super champ!  He of course won everyone over with his antics and goofy self.
Luckily they had lots of toys to distract him during our long wait
 Gramma and Landon
 Landon back at home!
Amelia and Isabelle decorated for us!
Amelia and Isabelle practicing cheerleading (a little help from Landon too)
Gramma came back to help us out so Landon could stay home and recover.  So grateful for your help.

San Antonio Part 2

This is part 2 of our San Antonio trip and I'm not gonna lie - this is a long one!  So be prepared....

We went to Sea World, which is one of Daddy's favorite memories as a kid growing up.
The sea lions were very attentive to us when they thought we had food!
 Penguins
The kids also got to do some rides!   Nathan and Isabelle on the carousel
 Amelia
 Mommy and Isabelle
 Nathan and Aunt Kathy
 Mommy and Amelia
Elijah and Amelia waiting to go on the roller coaster.  They were soon excited!!!
It was so sweet how they held hands while waiting!
 Getting ready and preparing!
Daddy, Landon and a little bit of  Amelia watching the dolphin show
 Such excitement!

Lookin' down the row.....Uncle Tom, Nathan, Landon, Emma, Noah, Samantha and Michelle

Amelia and Elijah at the park
Mommy and Daddy had to take a walk down memory lane since this was our honeymoon spot - 12 years ago (now 13).   The good ole Riverwalk.   I still love it so much.   Here is our hotel we stayed at.   Its interesting how life has changed and how much easier it is to navigate the area as our world has gotten bigger.
Daddy and Mommy - still love birds after all these years!
This was showing something a little different 12 years ago!
Looking at the Riverwalk.   It still has such a quaint, relaxed atmosphere
 The classic colored umbrellas

At the Alamo - still uneventful all these years later!
Landon, Isabelle and Emma playing together
Amelia and Elijah playing in the tent
One of the days we took a hike while Samantha stayed back and napped
 Landon and Nathan becoming buddies
 The older ones ran ahead

After many funny faced pictures we got a smiling one!
The little guys next to each other.....I'm thinking some cousin trouble is coming our way!
Nathan, Uncle Tom, Daddy and Landon
Isabelle on a playground of a Mexican restaurant....oooh so good.
Another activity we did was golfing....not regular hit a bucket of balls golfing or golf course golfing, we did the 3rd floor - hit a ball at target golfing.  I'm not gonna lie - I was suspicious of the level of fun I was in for.......a bucket of balls can last me for hours.   I ROCK at golf.....when (emphasis) I can hit the ball.  AND in case it was of curiosity - it hurts more when you do not hit the ball than when you do.   So as imagined.....I had my reservations; however, who am I to ruin a stated good idea?!   Well, here we are....Emma is giving it a go....
 Elijah giving it a look/see
A girls picture, Emma, Mommy and Amelia
 Group picture!!!
Oh bro - if only I was just an ounce better at photoshop....this is just the best possible picture for oh oh so many funny situations.........just sayin'
 Mommy, Amelia and Daddy.
 Uncle Tom, Mommy, and Elijah
Emma wanted a picture just the two of us.....so here we are!!!
 Amelia taking her turn!
Noah working with Elijah and giving him pointers
Uncle Tom passed out after eating and golfing!
A normal picture of Tom (I like the other better, due to potential)
 Mommy and Daddy
A look out at the beautiful green.  The day was amazing!!!!  Weather was perfect.
So here I am - the stance rocks, the concentration is at an all time high and I have to say the success rate was Amazing!!!!   I had some pointers and boy did they work - so much so - I have a video of me hitting the ball!
 Daddy working his game!
 Noah at full concentration!
Overall, the whole experience was a BLAST!!!   The weather was perfect, I hit the ball, we got to eat and the company was fun!  I would definitely recommend it and would love to do it again!   Its kind of like bowling in the fact of having a place to sit and eat while you watch the others take their turns.
Aunt Michelle, Samantha, Noah and Isabelle
Isabelle's love for babies continued with Samantha!  Could not get enough of her!
 Cousin picture!
 Wrestle, pile on time!

Isabelle and Noah on the swings at their park
Emma giving the girls a ride......she was having lots of fun!

Good bye!!!!   Heading back to Fort Worth to catch our plan
On our way back we had to get some Texas to bring back
 Oh yes, cowgirls at heart
Waiting for the plane to come

Welcome back to snowy Minnesota.

Its definitely a bummer to be so behind in posts, because you forget the little stories this blog is supposed to be all about.  Those little glimpses into memories only captured by writing it down before you forget - in a way its kind of a little bit of magic from the past.   So while its past the point of remembering the little stories, this is what sticks out in my mind of this trip.   It was a GREAT trip.   It was relaxing, it was fun and a time for not only the adults to reconnect, but for our kids to make memories together and learn who each other are.   I was so utterly impressed how all of the kids got along.  I thought for sure by the end the kids would be tired of each other, but they weren't - it touched my heart.  I'm so glad we took the trip down to see you guys and had the opportunity to spend some quality time together.   Oh and how could I almost forget, I remember all the good food!
We love you all so much!
