Happy Halloween!

Why not be on time with a post?!

Happy Halloween!
This year, Amelia was a monster (Sully from Monsters Inc.) and Isabelle was a duck!
Amelia is obsessed with monsters!  Really just Sully.  And where did she learn of this fuzzy, likable guy?!  Definitely NOT from watching the movie!   A little closer to home actually.....her pull-ups.  Yep, she saw him and fell in love!

Isabelle was a duck.  And who ever created this costume was a genius because her little bottom waddled so cute when she walked!

This is the day before Halloween, they went to the library all dressed up!
We went trunk or treating, instead of going to the houses.  Amelia was so so excited to wear her monster costume!
Going from trunk to trunk.  Isabelle started getting the hang of it by the end.  In the beginning she just ran away as soon as someone talked to her.  And she held my hand the whole time like a death clamp.   Amelia on the other hand said Trick or Treat and said thank you.

Be On the Lookout

Miss Isabelle loves to jump.....as she goes down the stairs
Is willing to sneak up on you and give you belly raspberries (especially loves doing it to her daddy)
And last be not least, a belly laugh that comes from her toes!

Ozarks - The Mish Mash

This post is going to be a mish mash of pictures and the last post about vacation.  I need to get caught up on my other posts before this baby comes!

The next stop was a fun one.....the ice cream shop.
Isabelle took a taste of everyone's ice cream and decided she like Amelia's the best.  Of course she had chocolate with M&M's.    Amelia was so gracious and fed Isabelle until the all the ice cream was done.   It was a special moment for me to see such a bond between girls.
 Amelia's turn for the bite
 Isabelle's turn!
 Oh yum!  Such good stuff!
Grandpa and Amelia playing 'Grandpa Baby'......as by the title you may have guessed that Grandpa is playing Amelia's baby!
The pictures got a bit out of order.....so this is back at the dam.  Amelia had so much fun throwing the rocks!
Another group picture.....might just be the best one
And probably my favorite ice cream feeding picture
Another activity Amelia loved (possibly as much a gramma) was feeding the ducks!  We would feed them down by the water, but we also could feed them from the balcony
 Mid-run
 Such a smiley, happy girl
Waiting for the ducks to come

Our sweet girl

Gotta love that face!

What a great vacation we had!  It was so nice to get away and have some relaxing time!

Ozarks - Swinging Bridges

We went to the swinging bridges, which was really cool.  Amelia loved it!  As you walked across the bridge it swung and when you drove across the swinging bridges - the would really swing!
Miss Isabelle was still working on walking and keeping her balance, but as vacation continued she got better and better.
