We got Amelia some mega lego blocks and I was at first a bit skeptical - I must admit. I didn't think she would really get into them much and felt that in general she was a little young for them, but I was most definitely wrong. She loves them and does a great job of putting them together. We are still working on the whole picking them up. Some nights are ok but others - really not so good. I can tell Amelia is really starting to find her independence and showing it.
Amelia built this tower mostly by herself (with just a little help from Daddy to hold it and hand blocks over). We laughed, because as you can see the tower is bigger than her and she was on her very tip toes, working so hard to get all of the blocks stacked.
