Leaves, Parks and Trouble

What a whirlwind these last few weeks have been. It has been a big time for developments for Landon - as he is ALL over the place these days!

Landon is pulling himself up on anything he can!

We ran down to the dock and again - once we got on the dock, Isabelle wasn't so sure she liked it

Landon has a bit of a fetish with shoes and sticking them in his mouth. He is really starting to move fast from the sunroom to the shoe baskets! And its not always the army crawl anymore - he is starting to go on all 4's.

I love this picture of Isabelle and this big odd looking trike. It doesn't seem like she should be able to ride it, but she can and she moves fast! Its just hysterical.

No this is not from the summer - just an amazing fall day!

We got a visit from Ryan and Nolan! It was so great to see them and spend some time together!

Isabelle with Grandpa! Gramma and Grandpa came to visit the beginning of Sept, but for whatever reason, I did not get very many pictures at all! Fail on mommy's part.

A little sibling wrestling. I'm documenting, so one day Isabelle can remember that she was bigger than Landon.

Landon found a whole new world when he realized there was a window here. The first time, it was so cute to see him giggle.

We went on a leave hunt! Isabelle got lots of dry, crumply leaves and filled her bucket almost immediately

Amelia didn't fill her bucket and once we talked about doing a leaf project, she only wanted the soft ones.

One of Amelia's 'wishes' for the fall was to have a leaf pile to play in. Most of our leaves haven't fallen yet, so when the neighbor's did and they blew in our yard we took advantage!

Stealer?!

So apparently, I am a Kix stealer!!!! Last night, Isabelle was finishing up her snack and I came into the kitchen to keep her company. After being my goofy (I mean awesome) mom self and singing, "Hey-a good-lookin', whatcha got a cookin'" to make a serious girl smile - I sat down next to my sweet, spunky girl. Only for her to take her bowl of Kix and move it to the OPPOSITE side of the table - ever so slowly for affect. Before I can ask why she looks at me, points at me and calmly says, "You can't eat any, these are mine. I eat all of them."

I say, "Do you think I am going to eat them from you?"

Her response?! "Yep."

To which I try to reassure her, "I'm not going to eat any - they are yours."

She grabs her bowl again in protection mode and dramatically says, "You not eat any! I eat them all"

"Okay!" I say.....hands up.

She eats a few more and then says, "Ok - you have one mommy. JUST ONE. I give it to you."

"Really?!" I say. "Thank you.....you can keep it."

She pauses, the one kix in hand and emphasizes, "Just ONE mommy."

"Ok, thank you"

Then she at the rest, shows me the bowl and says with a huge smile on her face, "I eat them ALLLLL!"

So there you have it.....I must be a notorious Kix stealer :)
