Are They Here Yet?

The answer is no - at almost a year old Isabelle has yet to pop out a tooth.  Her gummy smile still graces us!  I thought her bottom two were coming in last week, but alas, not yet!

Home Show Season Rolls Around

Its that time of year again!  The home show!  We were all looking forward to it as there always seems to be something new and different.

And speaking of getting old?!  Note: the toy in her hand....its Harley's.  Yes, Isabelle LOVES all of Harley's toys.  I have to watch her like a hawk but it never fails, she still manages to suck on one of them! Yuck!

There were a couple play areas setup, and Amelia had so much fun going down the slides - which is kind of amazing considering she is kind of scared of them for the time being.  I think this may have been a turning point though, because since this time she has actually gone down her slide outside!

Luckily for us right next to the play area a massage exhibit was setup so all of us except Grandpa got one while we let Amelia play.

We were also able to meet up with Ryan and Melissa (mommy's cousin)

It was fun to catch up, since it has been soooo long since we have seen them!

Well, it was another successful home show weekend....until next year!

Random Day Play

I have a tendency to get behind on posts when it comes to pictures of the girls that aren't from a particular event.  So they all end up getting bunched together in one big post and the span of time is usually over a month or more.  I figure this is as good as it gets and its still better than nothing at all!

One day - I had a brilliant idea (if I may say so myself) - I pulled the couch cushions off and let the girls crawl and jump around.  Since then - we have done this many times.  I think it has been great for Isabelle's motor skills!

Success!  Isabelle was so proud of herself, she did it over and over.  Though I had to put the slide away because quite frankly - she was just not safe!  It was fun to see her get so excited.  Soon, when she has better control of herself - the slide will return - which will be to Amelia's delight!
