I have always heard about how kids have so much fun with the box toys come in instead of the toy itself. Well, we got a double stroller and Amelia really wanted to use the stroller - to the point that she actually got into it all by herself multiple times. So Gramma and I thought - hey - maybe we can distract her with the box and she will forget about the stroller, while she has oodles and oodles of fun with the box. Well, it didn't quite go how we thought.....
Amelia was actually scared of the box, so Gramma thought she would get in to convince her of how much fun the box could be.....
As you can see Amelia is not convinced.....
So Mommy gave it a try.....
Amelia got a little closer and we played peek-a-boo for a bit, which Amelia thought was cautiously fun. In general though, I would say the box was a bust. Amelia didn't actually get in the box and looked at Gramma and Mommy like they were kind of crazy when we were in it. So maybe there is a caveat to the whole 'love of cardboard boxes' thing....kids need to be of a certain age before they love the box.
