The Mini Vinny: Leading Up to Christmas

December was a busy month filled with activities leading up to Christmas!

Amelia and Isabelle's preschool had a Santa pancake one morning and the girls were so excited to go! Amelia was the only one who was brave enough to sit on Santa's lap or even get near.

Isabelle loves to hold small things in her hands for hours. Whether it is a bead, sticker, craft item, the girl will hold it and sometimes I don't even realize she has something until bed time. One of those times she is holding something with those little hands.

Isabelle had her first cavity - sad face. This was the initial consult.

There is nothing like the possibility of having your own ride on horse! Thank you costco for allowing my kids to want one :)

This year we are finally to a point where we can have a Christmas tree without too much worry. The kids loved helping and putting their ornaments on - I think we will have to start getting them more of their own.

We did some other decorations as well!

Oh little Lan Man - I got a call from daycare saying you got hurt and your teeth maybe went through your lip. Luckily they did not, but we got it checked out anyway. And since you drool so much - natural healing was the remedy.

Home with mommy and back to big smiles!

This year we did some Christmas shopping at MOA - and you can't go there without stopping at some rides!

Next on the list of festivities was the girls' preschool Christmas parties! Luckily this year they had childcare, so we were both able to attend both parties.

After Amelia's - it was Isabelle's turn. Oh this girl - bounced off the walls - she was so excited. From station to station to make crafts, eat her snack and bounce bounce bounce some more!

Isabelle also did songs; however, it was interesting to see how different the girls were in front of people. Amelia - not so excited to have a lot of eyes on her. Isabelle - showboated and noisy! Her innocence was just stinkin' cute though!

Isabelle continues to love on her brother and comfort him whenever needed.
