Melt Our Hearts!

Tonight Landon gave us his first kisses!  He puckered up and everything.  Oh how this boy has my heart!  I can't believe how old he is getting!

Last week we went in for his 18 month appointments, here are his stats:
Height: 2'8" (68th percentile)
Weight: 26 lbs 3 oz (79th percentile)
Head: 48.3 cm (77th percentile)

Landon is a very active boy!  He is in the process of teaching himself how to run!  And he is getting faster everyday.   Landon waves and says hi, bye and will also mimic the tones you do.   Landon does a really good job at communicating what he needs with pointing and noises.   He understands simple instructions such as close, sit down, come here, lets go outside and throw.   The word no seems like a foreign concept still; however, sometimes he will at least slow down for a minute - so I see that as progress.   Landon is also working on putting on his clothes and can drink from a cup pretty good.   Daycare has noticed he is transitioning to playing with kids more vs. independent play.   We are also seeing him pay more attention when reading books.

Most of the time Landon remains happy and laid back, but also is driven and doesn't like to give up if he has something on his mind!   His smile still overtakes his whole body and he loves to play little games such as gotcha, hide and seek and dancing.

This boy is so sweet!  God has truly blessed us!
