Beyond Words

There are moments in life when your kids amaze you and there just aren't words to describe how proud you are of them.  Today was one of those days.

A while ago I blogged about Amelia getting a dum dum sucker and church and how devastated Isabelle was.  Well, today Amelia got another dum dum,  but this time it worked out a little differently.   Daddy went to pick Amelia up,  I went to pick Landon up with a plan to meet in the middle and get Isabelle.  Amelia runs up to me with a huge smile on her face and 2 dum dum suckers in hand!  Not only did she remember her sister, but our shy girl asked the teacher for 2!  In face, when Daddy picked up Amelia she was the ONLY child who wasn't eating their dum dum.  Instead she was waiting to eat hers with Isabelle.  So on our way to Isabelle's classroom we went, with the dum dums held high.   We pick up Isabelle and immediately her eyes went to that dum dum and lit up!  She was so excited she got one too.  So so so incredibly priceless!  We both told Amelia how proud of her we were and how thoughtful she was to remember her sister.  Isabelle thanked Amelia and gave her a hug and smiled the whole way home.

Amelia - I am truly touched by the level of thoughtfulness and care you have for those around you.  We are so very proud of you and I pray the relationship you have with your sister will continue to grow as solid as a rock.  And while there may always be ups and downs, Vigneron's stick together.  God has created you to be such an amazing girl, great job showing His love all on your own!
