Animal Day

This morning Amelia declared today, Animal Day.  Which so far equates to the following activities:

Gathering all animals together in order for Amelia to take our picture

Amelia then taking multiple timed pictures

All animals and us getting into the car (the bigger car though in order for us all to fit), with car seats and seatbelts and driving to Ocita (aka Orange City) to visit gramma - though she is only a pretend gramma because she is my (mommy's) gramma too.   We also had to make a stop on the way to get a snack for me and Isabelle

We also had to go inside because it started to rain, but luckily it stopped.  Unfortunately we had to suspend play at that point since Landon woke up.

 

But precious moment.....Landon was in the bassinet and Amelia was keeping him company by talking to him and ever so gently rubbing his head.  In response, Landon started cooing at her and broke in to the biggest smiles while looking at her!  It was so sweet!  Its quite amazing what 2 years does to the interaction.....Isabelle LOVES him and wants to be all over Landon all of the time....gentleness of a bull in china shop.  Amelia has more of a laid back approach, she chooses her times more and is sweet and gentle with him.
