You know you have work to do when the following happens.....

"Isabelle, do you want the purple bowl or the orange bowl?"

Nana And Papa Visit

 Nana and Papa came to visit and see our ever growing children and to play card (an absolute must!).

Imagination

On Monday we went to gymnastics with 11 monkeys.  Luckily, they all fit in the van.  Some of their names included Okey, Dokey, Sashi and Bozo.  

4 of them came back to play last night.

Oh, Miss Amelia's imagination is in full swing.

All Out

Last night, Landon had his first all out giggle! The boy is so ticklish and he has been letting out a couple little giggles over the last week, but we got a full one last night.  So so sweet.

How To Make Money

Today Landon was in the bassinet while we at lunch.   This was our conversation:

Me:  "Landon you have been so good during lunch.  You are my sweet boy!"

Amelia:  "No he is MY sweet boy!"

Me:  "No, my sweet boy!"

(The back and forth carries on for a bit)

Suddenly, Amelia:  "Maybe we should sell him"

Me:  "Sell him?"

Amelia: "Yeah"

Me:  "Do you think we could make a lot of money?"

Amelia: "Yeah"

Me:  "Why would you want to sell him?"

Amelia:  "So someone else who wants a baby could have him"

Me:  "Well, what would we do without him?  Wouldn't we be sad?"

Amelia:  "You could just get pregnant and have another baby and I could have a baby brother!!!!"

Me:  "What if its a girl?"

Amelia:  "Maybe we should keep him"

Enough Oil?!

Last Monday as we were eating lunch Amelia made the comment....'I hope I have enough oil for gymnastics!'   

'Oil,' I ask. 'Why do you need oil?'  

'Daddy says I need to have enough oil for gymnastics.'

Note to self...ask Patrick......

Wednesday comes and we are eating an afternoon snack.  Amelia once again says, 'I hope I have enough oil for AWANA!  I need LOTS of oil!  Daddy says I do!'

So finally I remember to ask Patrick.....'Did you say something to Amelia about needing oil?'

'Hmmmmm, oh yes - one night I said - we need to eat healthy so we can be well-oiled machines!'

Ah - it all makes sense now!

A Little Cabin Fever

Due to this very long winter and a little cabin fever we decided to go visit Gramma and Grandpa.

We took a visit to the old college stompin' grounds to see updates.  Here we are at the RSC.  The girls had lots of fun playing basketball with Daddy.

Grandpa recently visited California and brought back oranges!  Isabelle was crazy about them!
