3 Month Pictures

While Patrick and I went to the Iowa vs. Penn State game, Mark and Mel graciously agreed to take 3 month pictures of Amelia. Here are the results - I think they look FABULOUS!!!! Thank you so much Mel and Mark, you have a great talent!

Hi Ho, Hi Ho Its Off To Oelwein We Go

The first weekend in October, we headed down to Iowa City to watch the Iowa vs. Penn State game, but on the way we stopped at Amelia's Great Grandma and Grandpa Bowers (my grandparents) house. We were also able to partake in Nick's Pizza, which we have eaten since I was a little girl! Yum!

It is always so good to see Great Grandma and Grandpa, but unfortunately we aren't able to see them nearly enough! We love you both!

....And the Verdict Is.....

Amelia slept through the night in her room! In fact, Amelia probably got more sleep than me. Our room felt rather empty, even though Amelia was right next door. I kept thinking she was going to wake up, but other than some grunts to get comfortable that was all. I have to say this girl is quite talented....we swaddle her every night, but even despite this fact Amelia still managed to migrate in her crib down towards her feet. I can see up toward her head, since maybe she pushes herself, but no she pulls herself down (or something like that!). In the end - Amelia did great! Hopefully she keeps up the good work!

Amelia's First Night in Her Room

Tonight is Amelia's first night in her room! Patrick and I are crossing our fingers that she will sleep through the night. Amelia has always been a good sleeper, so hopefully it will cross over into her room. We loaded her up on 7.5 ounces of milk, so that should help! I think that is a record feeding! We will keep you posted.....

Visit to OC!

A couple weekends ago, Amelia was able to experience Orange City for the first time! This is where I grew up and where Patrick and I met at college. Gramma and Grandpa were very excited to see Amelia and how much she had grown.
