Landon is 2!!!

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY LANDON!!!!
How this time has gone by so fast buddy!  This family would not be the same without you little man!  You are a constant ball of energy and fun.  The giggles and laughing brings joy to our hearts.  I can't believe how quickly you are developing with your talking and wanting to be included in everything the girls do.  Though you constantly call yourself a baby when given the choice between toddler and baby.   Landon we love you so much and we are so excited to see how you continue to grow and learn!
You love all things 'Little Blue Truck', so Amelia found this book as we were walking through Sam's Club (without any help from us!) and thought of you!  Immediately she wanted to get it for your birthday!  You were thrilled and it even has lights!
Reading the book and looking at the lights
 Lego train!
Continuing on with the lights - you got a fire truck!  Oh do you love that fire truck!

You love them so much you got a fire truck cake!  Daddy has skills....he made the fire truck on your cake --- way to go daddy!

You were a little cleaner this year, but still ended up pretty messy.

I am writing this a bit late - you are already 2 1/2.  And in 6 months - I can't believe how much you have changed.  You continue to grow and look older than you are!  You recently moved into a big boy bed (pictures to follow....some day :), you are pretty much potty trained.  You are incredibly smart - you sing your ABC's and many other songs.  You speak very clearly and add words all the time to your vocabulary.  One of my favorites is 'Baby luga' meant to be Baby Baluga.  They must sing it at daycare.  You love to hear Jesus in the van as we drive....Psalty.  Amazingly, you still drool a ton!  I'm not sure what it is, but you have a lot!  Also amazingly, I think you may be the biggest talker of the family so far - you always have something to say and you make sure you don't get lost being the youngest.  You are also the only child to mimic mommy saying something not so great!  (Oooooo my gooooosh).  Your smile and giggles continue to be contagious and lucky for me - you are still such a snuggler!  You've got the best hugs and snuggles - it melts me every time.  You also tell us you love us - which of course...we all love.   Its so fun to see your relationship with your sisters grow.   The other day you told your first joke (mommy was speechless) it went a little something like this.....
Mommy:  Landon are you a daddy's boy?
Landon: No
Mommy:  Are you a mommy's boy?
Landon:  No.   I Landon's boy.   HA  GOT YOU!!!

I thank God for you sweet boy and I pray you grow into a God loving man.  You are so energetic and love to push the boundaries - but you are so smart its amazing and we continue to enjoy this process of watching you grow up.

Happy Thanksgiving!

For Thanksgiving, we headed down to Gramma and Grandpa's house!
Grandpa playing with Amelia
Looks like sleeping runs in the family.....through the generations....Ryan on the left, great grandma on the right.
We were lucky enough to have Ryan, Melissa, Nolan and Brody join us for Thanksgiving!  It was our first time meeting this little cutie!
Landon soaked up the lovin's from great grandpa!  And great grandpa loved giving them!
Nolan and Amelia.  The kids got to know each other better through the time they spent together.

Nolan loved cleaning the floor!  It ended up being contagious to Landon and Isabelle!

How can this boy be growing up so fast!  That face says it all.....I'm a crazy boy!

'YOU!'
Can't help but love that smile.
All the boys in orange!!!  Nolan called me friend most of the weekend!  We were buddies.  He is such a sweet kid!  He proved that boys can be calm!
Ryan found a buddy too in Landon!
In fact, Ryan had a shadow! Gotta love the hand on the leg.
Landon was not the only shadow Ryan had!
